Thursday
Yesterday Ashlyn had another upper GI test done to make sure every thing looked good for her feeding tube in her stomach. It all looked good and she might have the surgery for the tube tomorrow. After getting the tube, they have to watch her for 24 hrs. to make sure everything is ok with it. So hopefully that means she will be in rehab. soon. We have been getting her out of bed more and sitting her in a high chair. She does pretty good. When Todd put her in this morning, he was playing with her and she actually giggled a little. It was good to see her happy, if only for a second. Most of the time she is not happy. That is all for now. I will hopefully be putting pictures on later tonight.

Dear Liz and Todd,
ReplyDeleteIt must be a joy to see her giggle. We are so glad Todd gets to be there for her and help support you. It has got to be rough on you both, but God is also giving you something along the way. I bet you never knew you could be as strong as you have had to be in this last five months? God is giving you all the strength you need to get through. Thank you God for providing for the Finns in all there areas of need. Thank you God for the Finns, they are a true blessing. Please continue to bless them more and more. Thank you God. love,
The Skinners
I will say "Amen" to all Kathy has written.
ReplyDeleteLord, we pray that through this extremely hard trial that Ashlyn must go through that you would be her strength. Lord, fill her with your joy! The joy of the Lord be her strength in Jesus name.
