Busy Day

Today will be a busy day. Ashlyn will get a central line put in, which they do under ultra sound. She will have a CT scan and possibly lighten her sedation to see how she responds. That is the plan so far. The Drs. have not rounded yet so things could always change. I will give another update later in the day.

Thank you all again for checking in. We are amazed how many people are following her progress and praying for her.

  4. Hey guys,
I almost at a loss for words..almost. As I sit here trying to take in all you must be going through I'm reminded of the strength and character I always saw displayed in you as I grew up...I'm sure it is THAT depostit of the Lord that is upholding you now. I pray that the mountains of prayers that are going forth are bringing you comfort and strength moment by moment. Love, even from all these miles away still reaches that I'm sure of.

  5. Dear Liz & Todd,

I loved having Katie-Skizz at the house this weekend. She has a smile that lights up a room.
From the time I put her nite nite---to GOOD MORNIN Sunshine =).

    She absolutly made mom's day.
She was a Balm for our aching hearts.

How God makes these little dolls I'll never understand But he doe's all things well.

And he gives us wonderful people around us to put things back together again.

  6. To THE Fabulous Ashlyn Finn!! ~isn't she beautiful? Such a beautiful girl, even in her tubing! The doctors must have such tender hearts! Our Ted jr has just chosen his "branch of service" as an emergency pediatrician (4th yr med school). So, I sent him this link. He said Poor little girl, she's had a rough break.
Hoping and praying and still baffled, but it is Heaven we are seeking on this earth, so bring it down here, Lord! Bring it right to Ashlyns room, your healing presence and tender touch. Amen?

  12. Dear Todd and Liz, We are praying and thinking about you always. Ed and I and the children view the blog site. Matthew said "Is that Ashlyn", and just looked at her. He is sad but he prays for her and I know God hears the prayers of the little children. I'll call CarolAnn about getting onthe list for dinner for the family. Ed and I would like to come for a visit if you want but we don't want to be in the way. Let us know if we can do anything at all. We love you. God Bless you all. The Skinners
