Thursday Morning
The plan for today is to reduce her sedation more so they can extibate her (pull out her breathing tube). She has been very agitated coming out of this. Even after she is off sedation, she may not respond to us much because of her injury. I keep hoping that she will just open her eyes and be fine. I have dreams at night that she is talking to us and we are all so amazed how great she is doing. I pray that that will be reality and not just a dream. She started having bowel sounds this morning, so they will increase her tube feeds after they extibate her. She did have a fever this morning (100.8) so they will do some cultures to see if there is any infection there. Pray that there isn't. God is so good, and as hard as these next few weeks will be, I just believe that she will make a full recovery. Thanks for checking in today.

Good Morning! ...of course I'm checking in! I don't think there is a second of my day I'm not thinking of you all! I'll be praying she does well today when they lower her sedation and that she only keeps showing good improvements!! God will help her through this and I pray that when she wakes up, she looks at you both and knows everything will be fine! You're both such great parents!!
ReplyDeleteKeep fighting Ashlyn!!! Love you guys!!
Love Heather
We wait and wait
ReplyDeleteas time goes by
Hoping and praying
for just one little sign
But our loving Father
Soo faithful and true
Gave Liz and Todd not one...but "TWO"
These signs are a symbol of hope
For all us to praise
The goodness of God
Throughout these long days
We now look forward
To a glimmer and a smile
From this one so precious
Lizzie's baby, Todd's child
Refreshment of faith
keeps us "warriors" renewed
As we wait expecting
For more "Happy" news
So press in and go forth
With fasting and prayer
Be confident,
that every need in her body
Is under my care
Confusion, anxiety
is not coming from me
I'm peace and faith
And all you can't see
I'll strengthen you
Bless you
Provide all your needs
While "BELOVED" the "Church"
Remain on their knees
Be at peace my dear children
I come to reveal
Ashlyn & Jesus
Have "Secrets' concealed
For you will remain
in a state of awe
As I reveal myself
during these days...you've endured
A mist of my spirit
Will touch your sweet souls
As I allow you to see
My Glory Unfold
I love you,I hear you
Your Ashlyns,is "MY" care
Continue in vigilance
Your courage to bear
Others will see
the faith that you harbor
And many will acknowledge
MY most powerful father
From the heart of God.....
I ache when I can't be there..
ReplyDeleteBut sometimes I can get under feet
I will continue to do that which God has called
me to do.
I will be his catalyst..
My heart is with you both...
