Someone gave our boys a dirt bike. Of course, they are so excited about. Yesterday Preston got to ride it by himself for the first time. He did really well. And for all you worry warts out there (me included) he was very cautious and did great riding for the first time.
Ashlyn also swam in the "big" pool yesterday for the first time. She had only her life jacket and actually let go of Todd a few times. It's just a matter of time before she is swimming like a little fish in there.
Yesterday Kiernan had his "moving up day" at school. He is going into the middle school next year. (He is growing way too fast). At the ceremony, he got an award for "Outstanding Academic Achievement". Which means he made significant improvements over the course of the year. We are very proud of him.
wow a dirt bike - Abraham can't WAIT to get to your house now! It can't possibly be true that our boys are old enough to ride dirt bikes. Wow!

ReplyDeleteOh Liz I just looked at the photos again. You are in the pool, you are a brave lady. The water had to have been cold. It really hasn't been sunny enough to warm the water has it? We don't even have our pool up yet, the rain has kept us from doing so. And even when it does go up, I am not looking forward to going in. My kids are big enough that I don't have to.
